Diary and Internal Messaging.

Keeping track of Jobs to do and the Jobs you’ve done.

The VizBiz diary serves two main functions; the standard “reminder” and history functions which all diaries perform and a “messaging” function. Because users can create diary entries for other users, and because users are notified as soon as a new diary entry has been created for them, the diary acts as a powerful messaging system which can be retained and overseen by management as a “log” of business events tracked by the messages. See also “Issue Management” which echoes all “Issues” to the Diary.

Diary entries can also be tied to relevant accounts, providing a simple way to track contacts with customers and suppliers.

Alarms can be set for each diary entry, with repeat intervals, expiry dates and reset dates.

Each time you enter the VizBiz, you are alerted to any new Diary entries that have been posted for you and reminded if there are any outstanding “Live” entries still on the diary. You can ignore such prompts but you are at least reminded they exist.
