Completely Configurable Reports with optional automatic Data Filtering
The VizBiz comes with the powerful Foxpro Report Generator built in and can be directly integrated with Crystal Reports. This allows the data you extract to be presented in virtually any way you can imagine, including, if necessary, in full colour and with images. You can create your own invoices, delivery notes, statements, or even bespoke Stock Catalogues with pricing unique to the customer. Or you can just create a template which prints the relevant data onto pre-printed stationery.
The program organises the reports you create just like any other database and this offers additional power which may be unique (for SME software packages) to the VizBiz: the configurable Auto Query report. For example, we have customers who like to perform periodic analyses of “year on year” sales by Rep. This requires a report which summarises the sales by item and account but it also requires a complex base query which selects two years’ worth of data back from any end date chosen by the user, together with sub filters which isolate Reps data within that master query.
The VizBiz allows skilled users (or we can do it for you) to create such combinations in such a way that, thereafter, all the user has to do is make their way into the appropriate module, set the date range they’re interested in and call up the report. It creates the master query, then presents the user with a popup list of the reps (or other relevant user defined options) they want to analyse/print.
The Print options are to Printer (with preview), File, PDF or PDF & Email. Hence you can, for example, create the day’s invoices and email them to your customers. The File option makes it possible to export data to ANY other application providing they can give you a data template on which to base the report. (Data can also be exported in a variety of Database and Spreadsheet formats and as XML files)
Exploiting the full potential of the combined power of our Search and Report options can be intimidating for novice users. Fortunately, we’ve been serving customers since 1992 and, in that time, we have created several thousand reports of varying complexity. All these are available to all our users. Apart from those which need Company specific data (like your own business name and logo on Invoices) they will serve almost all your requirements with no further amendment. A few (like the invoices) might require relatively trivial amendments we can implement in a few minutes.
If you have genuinely novel data analysis requirements, even the most complex reports can usually be created in an hour or two.
