Account Management
One address book to rule them all.
The VizBiz address book stores comprehensive business data about each account holder. As well as the obvious “name, address and phone number” we enable unlimited contact lists storing Names, Positions, Phone Numbers and email addresses to be stored for each account.
The address book is also where you set up the “Rules” which determine your relationship with the account. Default bank accounts, trading terms, currency, restricted stock lists, collated invoices, contract numbers etc.
You can also determine whether accounts are “independent” or subsidiaries of head offices which are stored elsewhere in the address book. These can be set to receive their own invoices or to be invoiced via Head Office.
The VizBiz does not hold separate address books for Customers, Suppliers, Staff, Reps etc. We hold one address book in which we can flag records as being Customers, Suppliers etc.
VizBiz contains a built in Email client (send only) and, from within the address book, you can send an email to any of the contacts on a given account. (From all other modules, emails can only be sent to the Account Email address stored in the Address record).
Most powerfully, the address book is where you can track overall trade with an account and set up unique contract pricing down to individual stock items (See Customer Pricing Arrangments)
The Unique Account Reference created for each record in the address book is the single most important item of data in the entire database. It uniquely identifies every transaction in every module relevant to each account. Nevertheless, if you ever need to change that Account reference, the VizBiz allows you to do that without loss of Data Integrity.
